Stock Tracker Pro - Your Ultimate Trading Companion with GPT Insights
Welcome to Stock Tracker Pro now featuring a GPT companion, I've been using this sheet for the past couple of years and continued to iterate. I use this to add listings that I'm watching, trading and to follow popular index fund holdings to see if an entry point is coming for stocks and crypto.
This sheet has 6 key tabs:
Analysis
This is the main area which will show data pulled from the tickers symbols - I've added placeholder tickers to show what it could look like but you can just replace these with what's on your watchlist and/or portfolio. If you want to track financials you can add the number of shares you own in column AA, this will calculate the figures and show you a pretty pie chart within the Financials Tab. Please note that I use these indicators as guidance to then check the actual charts, please don't trade based on whether potential buy / sell is yes. Do your own checks too.
Crypto
For those interested in crypto you can add your holdings, the formula works in currency pairs and +750 cryptocurrencies are supported. I've kept this quite basic but will provide some insight into your holdings and useful resources. I will build this further based on feedback.
Financials
I use this tab to track my holdings ordered by size, the pie chart is there to show % weightings across all holdings.
Next Earnings
Showing dates for upcoming earnings for your portfolio list.
Highlights
This is to give you a guidance on potential buys, sells or low warnings based on if the current price of a stock is above the 20 day simple moving average, and 10% above the 200 day simple moving average. I use these as guidance for my top ups or entry points. A sell is when the current price is dipping down close to the 20 day simple moving average, it might indicate a good time to trim to prevent further losses if the trend is in a downward trajectory. A low warning is when the current price is below the 20 day moving average and under 10% of the 200 day moving average.
Config
This sheet also gives you reminders (hourly, daily or otherwise), you can set this up by enabling notifications in this tab and entering your trigger email (where the notifications will go). You will also need to setup the trigger, I've attached a video of how to set this up on purchase. It's super useful so you don't have to keep checking in on this sheet - it also triggers when the sheet is closed.
Hot
This is to indicate what's currently hot, you can order this based on the highest 20 day moving average difference, this is normally an indication that the RSI is hot so it's probably not a good time to buy the stock. You can reverse this too if you want to catch a dip.
- RSI above 70: Suggests an asset is overbought, and a price correction may be likely.
- RSI below 30: Suggests an asset is oversold, and a price bounce or recovery may be likely.
GPT
I've built a specialised GPT which allows the following actions + further insights into your holdings, diversification, trends and research:
- Analyze stock performance trends and provide guidance.
- Help improve portfolio's risk management.
- Create an in-depth crypto market analysis from your portfolio.
- Help find buy/sell opportunities by analyzing your holdings.
- Assess your portfolio's sector diversification.
- Evaluate your risk profile of my stocks.
Last note...
